Wink ‘Em game and winking across cultures

Group name: Wink Wink Don’t Tell Me.

Our game puts you in the shoes of the winker and simulates part of the game from there

Project Summary.

  • The project aims to help people understand how to play the Wink ‘Em game and learn about what winking in different cultures might mean.
  • The game is quite fun because the art style is inviting and engaging; also, the winking in different cultures map is interactive and engaging.
  • The Wink ‘Em game involves making a circle of chairs, and half of the group sits down with one empty chair. The other half of the group stands behind a chair. However, one person stands behind the empty chair and starts the game by winking at someone sitting in a chair anywhere in the circle. They will try to quickly get up and move to the winker’s chair before the person behind them taps them on their shoulders. If the person posted behind them taps on their shoulders before they leave the chair, that person must remain seated there. Then, the winker should try and wink at another person. Once a person is up and out of their seat into the empty one, the person whom they left becomes the new winker.
